Preparations

We've been super-busy since hauling the boat in early November.  The big stuff entails making a new rudder that doesn't project below the 2' draft keel; replacing the wire/rope halyards with all rope (several jambs last year); and installing composting toilet, depth sounder, and alchohol stove.  Minor tasks involve many storage solution improvements, bug screens, and some re-bedding and leak fixes.  Just over two weeks to go, and I think it will all come together, but there are still many items left to be checked off the to-do list!

Rudder rough shaped.  The blank was laminated of 2 layers of 3/4" and one 1/2" layer of marine grade douglas fir plywood
